If you want to start a low carb diet then you should know that you will have to lose everything sweet. Candy is well known to have a lot of carbs. You will also have to give up ice cream. Ice cream is made out of mild and dairy products are rich in carbs. If you like to eat pasta then I have some bad news for you. If you want to follow a low carb diet then nothing that contains wheat should be consumed in large quantities if any! Pasta, bread, flour and pretty much everything made with flour should be avoided. These products contain a lot of carbs that can be healthy but if you are on a low carb diet then you should stay away from them. Potatoes and rice are also rich in carbs and you might not want to eat a lot of them if you are on a diet.

Carbs might be found in all sorts of tasty foods but if you are really serious about your low carb diet then you might want to avoid them as much as you can! You will see that you will be able to lose a lot of weight if you will follow such a diet.
