Of course, you don’t need to feel like a prisoner in jail and cut on your birthday cake, but make sure to only eat things with too much sugar and calories very rarely if you can’t definitively let them go and always get smaller portions of them than you used to. You should know that guilty pleasures should be relished and not be abused of. Cut on the fat and take advantage of the yummy vegetable-based recipes there are. Bird meat is much better than any red meat, so you might want to stop eating beef and pork.
